The viking country club has definitely been the best accommodation in which I've stayed in Iceland. It's perfect. The house is so charming and clean, the kitchen is very equipped and the bathroom has lots of amenities. There is also a hot tub. But appart from that, it is an incredible place to see the northern lights. We witnessed an espectacular aurora storm from the house's backyard. It was simply magical. We were able to continue seeing the northernlights from our room's window which was oriented to the north. I had in the viking country club the best unforgettable experience of my life.

Guesthouse Basar is charming and cozy, perfect for exploring Grimsey! The room was tidily nestled under the eaves. Breakfast each morning filled me up for the day, and I really appreciated the ample hot beverage supplies available in the kitchen when I returned from hiking around the island. I was the only guest during my stay, it was a very peaceful trip.

An individual good sized cabin in a quiet setting with beautiful views of the mountains and countryside. There is no kitchen sink but there is a dish-washer. Otherwise well equipped and perfectly clean with a comfortable bed.

The cabins are very spacious, have very luxurious and comfortable furniture, are decorated in a designer modern style which really feels refreshing and also gives a homely feel. It is located in a quiet and peaceful area where you only hear sheep and with nice views of the valley and surrounding slopes. The hottub is shielded by grasses.

A welcoming guest house with a large room and comfortable beds. The soak in the hot tub was wonderful after a long day on the bicycle. Expansive views of the countryside, which was so quiet and peaceful at night. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast, including delicious pancakes and jam which had been home-made by our gentle and gracious hostess. We will be back!
