We have been there for the second time. Peter and Glenda are always friendly and welcoming. They made us feel at home in their piece of heaven. We relaxed so much. We were happy to see that the garden have grown more since our last visit. Also, we enjoyed ‘gourmet’ breakfast choices and the italian coffee. Being able to swim at the dawn was a nice touch. Hopefuly we’ll get back there again in the future at this hidden gem.

This beachfront property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The property offers a restaurant, bar and garden on-site. Accommodation for disabled guests is also available. The highlight is definitely Chathu, the owner, who went out of his way to help me with anything I needed — laundry, transportation, recommendations, random questions, and even translations for my dietary preferences! The room was big, the bed comfortable, and the lack of an A/C turned out to be less of a problem than I thought. I valued greatly that everything was clean and well maintained. The location is nicely between Midigama and Ahangama — if you're staying for longer, a scooter is recommended for more freedom. The rooftop wasn't ready yet, but I'm sure it will be amazing.

Situated in Habaraduwa, 2.6 km from Koggala Beach, Sri Mathie Historic Estate features accommodation with an infinity pool, free private parking, free bikes and a garden. The property has pool and garden views, and is 15 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. We had an excellent stay in a very authentic and cozy home for the last part of our holidays in Sri Lanka. Guy and Mary were very welcoming hosts and served us delicious breakfast with homemade curd, granola and bread. Home made dinner was also available but we unfortunately could not join due to our schedule. The pool is beautifully located in the middle of the forest and was the best pool we had during our trip. The house is located in a very quiet and serene place but with a scooter/tuk tuk, everything can be reached quickly. Overall, we had a great stay at Sri Mathie and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Bike hire and car hire are available at this guest house and the area is popular for snorkelling. I loved this place, it was the perfect spot for me as a digital nomad and solo traveler. Especially good if you’re staying long lengths of time as it feels very homely and has a kitchen. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home. The rooftop view is amazing especially for sunrise. Rooms were clean. They also cooked a lovely dinner as a gift to one of their long term guests and we were all invited to join it was super nice.

Sorry for this much attention to the food, but this is the first time when I eat breakfast and stay full all day🤍 - the view on the ocean -the location (close to the beach where you can swim) - once again, the family who accepted us was just as they were my family. They helped us with everything, accepted us earlier, helped us with the transport
