All units at the country house feature air conditioning and a desk. We had a beautifull stay in Solar Pontes. The staff where very friendly. Breakfast was exceptional! The host Bea where very helpful she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, she even shared some of her mom's cakes recipes which where jammy! 😍 I highly recommend this place! There is a garden at this property and guests can go hiking nearby. This was our favorite stay of our trip and we stayed at 3 different locations. Private, clean and big room with private bathroom and lots of privacy. Secure parking within steps and beautiful authentic hosts. It’s clear the owners take pride in their belongings and hosting, they were available for any and all questions and even showed us items around the house we wanted to know more about. Beautiful eating area with a gorgeous view and even offered us fresh sweet ride pudding and banana bread! We burnt our dinner one evening, and Paulinha offered us part of her own dinner. Central area which allowed us to return to areas around the island we wanted more time at and walking distance to grocery store as well. Don’t miss out on this place!!!

The nearest airport is João Paulo II Airport, 6 km from Pink House Azores. We loved everything about our stay at The Pink House - it has been done to a lovely standard and the space was perfect for us. Emmanuel was a great host and was good with communication before and during our stay. Sonia was also great during our stay - very friendly when delivering our lovely breakfast each morning and keeping our space in order. It was also a delight to meet Sting and Rose - gorgeous dog and cat!

The Mount Pico volcano is 14 km from the property, while Gruta das Torres lava cave is 16 km away. Madalena is 11 km away and has a pier offering connections to other islands of the Azores. The location is stunning! The view on the sea, the mountain and sunset, even after a week we couldn’t get used to it. We were lucky with good weather and saw the mountain every single day of our stay. The house is nice too, nice kitchen, bathroom with view and comfortable beds. Nice museum and natural pool around the corner. Fresh fruit, cheese and bread when we arrived. Helpful and kind host Claudio.
