"Alqueiturismo - Casas de Campo" is the typical countryside accommodation with lots to offer: pool, barbecue, farm animals, bikes, canoes. Also, since it's close to the hills, it's quite easy to go for a hike and be in communion with the nature. It's relatively close to "Passadiços do Mondego" which are an amazing experience. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at TheVagar Countryhouse in Portugal, and I must say it was an absolutely enchanting experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms and genuine smiles, setting the tone for a truly memorable stay. 
The location was straight out of a fairytale. Surrounded by lush greenery and picturesque countryside views, we felt like we had stepped into a tranquil oasis. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our room was like a cozy haven, blending traditional Portuguese charm with all the modern comforts we needed. The bed was super comfy, and we slept like babies every night. The attention to detail was evident, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches that made us feel so pampered. The breakfast, oh my goodness, the breakfast! Each morning was a delightful culinary adventure, and we couldn't get enough of the flavors and freshness. It was a real treat for our taste buds! The best part, though, was the people. The staff at TheVagar Countryhouse were simply amazing. They were friendly, helpful, and genuinely passionate about their beautiful region. They had fantastic recommendations for onsite activities (don’t miss out the jeep tour & picnic !) & interesting sites nearby (visit of Sortelha was our highlight !). We took full advantage of the lovely facilities at the country house. Whether we were lazing by the gorgeous infinity pool, having relaxing massage outdoor, strolling through the charming surrounding of the property, or just lounging in the sun with a good book, we felt totally at peace. Leaving TheVagar Countryhouse was bittersweet; we didn't want to say goodbye to this little piece of paradise. We left feeling refreshed and relaxed. In short, if you're looking for a slice of heaven in Portugal, TheVagar Countryhouse is the place to be. It's a hidden gem that stole our hearts, and we can't wait to go back.

It's a tastefully designed boutique hotel, with super clean and luxurious room. The breakfast was delicious and impressive and they even provided us with vegan options. The property was comfortable with so much attention to every detail that could add to comfort- comfortable beds, thick plush towels, assorted pillow styles,, heated towel rack. It was very quiet, & set in a beautiful garden. I am here in early spring with only a few blooming plants, but i can imagine it will be spectacular in full bloom. Isabel was so kind & went way beyond what i would expect to be sure everything was perfect for my stay- she even called a nearby restaurant to be sure they had outdoor seating & that my dog could go along. I felt like i was staying with a friend! I will definitely be back

The location was absolutely beautiful. A perfect base to explore the mountains and walk the marked hiking trails in the area. The host, Pedro, was very communicative prior to check in and when we arrived he spent a lot of time explaining where we could go/ what we could do. His parents who were hosting throughout our stay were so lovely and couldn’t do any more for us. They made the experience extremely relaxing and memorable. Particularly loved the view for breakfast, the hammock in the evening and the friendly cat :) I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to relax, unwind, and do some hiking.

Providing mountain views, Casa do Fundo - Sustainable & Ecotourism in Seia provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. Beautiful building and rooms with awesome living space and gardens.. Excellent hosting from Pedro. Good local knowledge. Large breakfast. Good parking. Definitely go again.
