Fresh water was left in the room every day. The restaurant (The LivingRoom) is very beautiful, a great place to chill, relax, listen to good music and eat. The quality of the food and wine was excellent, I was lucky enough to try just about everything on the menu and I was not disappointed! The food and wine would not be out of place at any top quality restaurant. Summerhill manages to pull together all the essential elements of guest house, restaurant and a great team into an amazing experience. Everyone at the Summerhill guest house was extremely pleasant and went out of their way to be very helpful, they made my stay a truly excellent experience. This country house is elegantly appointed with an inviting country atmosphere. Each guest room has a seating area, satellite TV and a work desk. There are complimentary tea-and-coffee making facilities in each room. The private bathrooms are fitted with a bath and shower and come with free toiletries and a hairdryer. All I can say is WOW, awesome place will not stay anywhere else the next time I travel to Howick. Service was the best. The dirt road is a small price to pay for what You get. The food is THE BEST!!!!
