Explore and find hotels on the Cayman Islands

The Cayman Islands may be a British Overseas Territory, but the beautiful beach scenery, coral reefs and island vibe found here are unmistakably Caribbean. There are three islands. The biggest and most developed is Grand Cayman, where lavish hotels and fancy restaurants create a Miami-style feel. Its beating heart is the white-sand Seven Mile Beach. Here, you can either relax under the sun or join in the fun with a range of watersports, beach games and bars to choose from. Explore the north side of Grand Cayman to discover verdant forests, diverse birdlife and quieter beaches, or paddle with friendly stingrays at Stingray City in the North Sound. The smaller islands of Little Cayman, where drivers must give right of way to iguanas, and Cayman Brac, with hiking trails and deep-sea fishing excursions, are slower-paced and more laid-back. But the Cayman Islands’ greatest treasures lie beneath its gentle, crystalline waters. Dive in to find bright schools of tropical fish, steep walls and coral-covered shipwrecks. You can take lessons at a local diving school, or hire some snorkelling gear if you’d rather stick to the shallow reefs. Virtually all hotels, villas and condos are scattered across Grand Cayman, with the majority found in George Town, the capital. The northern side and the Sister Islands are protected areas so accommodation options are much more limited.
