Located in Monrovia, within 4.2 km of Liberian National Museum and 700 metres of Ghana Embassy, Murex Plaza Hotel & Suites offers accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. The location is excellent. Close to city centre and businesses. The airport is away from the City (about an hour drive depending on traffic) so does not really impact the choice of accommodation in Monrovia as most good options are in the city. Murex Plaza is a good hotel, well run and managed, good staff, professional and courteous. The power supply is 24x7 as they have a backup. Hot water, shower in the room. It is a quiet place (despite the traffic), and has a restaurant to cater to a modest variety of cuisine. There are few eateries close by as well. For those who are in town for a longer period, the hotel is closed to supermarkets - about 800 m. ATM are close by as well - around 600 m. The hotel is on the main road, which provides easy entry and exit for taxis. Some of the rooms have a sea view.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Location is also very nice, just across the airport, beautiful garden near the river.
