Lovely setting on a man made lake behind the hotel. Walking distance from nearby family (who don't have the room for guests). Breakfast was very good in a room that takes advantage of the lake views. Room was spacious, clean, and updated in terms of decor.

I arrived very late at night due to many delays on the plane trip from Boston. But there was a staff member on site to welcome me, which was lovely. The room was very nice and warm.

Perfect for solo travel. The residence looks like a boutique hotel from the street, and inside had so much character. Didn’t feel like a “dorm”. The bathrooms are technically shared, but with a single toilet, sink and shower they lock and are private when using them. The location was also excellent, close to everything you want downtown Halifax

Superb hotel in a great location on the waterfront, rooms were extremely well designed with top quality toiletries and lovely touches such as chilled water bottles in the car was returned from valet parking. Loved the concept of the 'speakeasy' bar for hotel residents only -amazing views from there and such fun to knock and be let in!!
