The property is gorgeous, like much of Kingston is. Lovely garden to lounge in with coffee and a book. Austin the concierge was phenomenal. A joy to interact with. His energy and positive attitude was so welcome I had forgotten what this level of service felt like. The continental breakfast was already great with fresh baked pastry, but the optional upgrade was affordable at $8 per guest, and was quite lovely.

We had a great stay at the Hochelaga Inn. The building is gorgeous with a charming decor. The location was excellent and we were close to a number of local sites like the stunning St.Mary's Cathedral. It was very easy to walk to the town centre. The Inn was very comfortable, parking outside was very straightforward. We were treated to a delightful breakfast with some great continental style fare, pastries and coffee.

The hotel is clearly relatively recently been renovated and actually looks quite nice. The interior design is an interesting mix of modern and 60s (by which I mean it's more "funky" than dated). The staff were nice too and helpful with any questions. Overall a good experience.

I loved the breakfast. So delicious and so much better than a typical continental breakfast. I also loved the design of the whole hotel and how clean it was. It was such a pleasure to stay there. My room was fantastic and had its own balcony and I only wish I could have stayed longer.
