This stay was absolutely lovely. It has a beautiful courtyard with a fishpond and running water that gently rocks you to sleep at night. The room was very clean and tidy, comfortable and had all the required amenities . The best part was the owners. It is a family business and the care and attention given by them shows how much they care for it and their customers. We were welcomed with tea upon arrival, tasted many different types, chatted about tea and Chinese culture. They prepared breakfast to-go for us when we went early morning on a hike (without us asking) and helped us book bus tickets, drivers to and from airport etc. They also helped us order things online and helped with any request or question. It was a great and welcoming experience and I suggest anyone to try it, they are just lovely. Be sure to not pass on the tea when offered by the passionate owner, it’s quite an experience.

It is said that it was designed by the boss's daughter, which is very distinctive. It is also one of the hotels with the best sanitary environment in the Old Town of Lijiang. It is perfectly located, right in the middle of the Old Town Lijiang. The staff of this hotel is friendly, helpful and with a "I can help you with that" attitude. It was wonderful to spend Christmas here.

My room had a lovely pond outside with some tables, chairs and umbrellas to lounge at. The garden had a security-guarded exit into the ancient town for easy access to shops and restaurants. Service was great. Breakfast was terrific. The main lobby has a great view where we enjoyed a late tea/lunch-all delicious. Live music was provided-a relaxing atmosphere.CatherineGroup
