Great staff and great place to stay while in Lindau. Accessible price with great breakfast. Shower was great, as the restaurant tha has the same name of the hotel. If one day I should return to Lindau Insel, would stay again in Engel!

The hotel has the best location you could wish for Lindau, with the beautiful view to the harbor, lake and mountains. Being vegetarian, breakfast sometimes can be an issue. Here it was better than expected, you can make your fresh juice from apple, carrot, celery, ginger and there were even vegan spreads for the bread. Got a great recommendations for lunch with wide vegetarian options. The Spa lounge area has a stunning and relaxing view to the lake, same as the sauna on the rooftop. If you are foreigner be aware in Germany and also in this hotel the rooftop area (sauna & mini pool) is textile free.

The pool even though a bit small, did the job and I got use out of it. My room was spacious and very tastefully decorated I was very happy with it. I had dinner at the restaurant and the waiters were lovely the food amazing. I had a great experience, they had a few deers and sheeps on the hotel grounds which made me happy, they had a lot of space and they looked healthy.
