The family-owned Hotel Abaco was originally built as a bakery in the 18th century. Nowadays, it offers cosy accommodation in its 10 individually decorated rooms, all with attractive, antique-style furnishings.

The staff was absolutely amazing. The owner took great care of us from the time we walked in the door, making sure we were comfortable, we had a safe place to park our vehicle, making sure we enjoyed a glass of champagne in their beautiful courtyard before even going to our room. We paid for laundry service and they ironed and folded everything and brought it to our room. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Abaca. When the owner found out we got engaged the previous day, she upgraded our room, gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne, and even left a handwritten note on the pillow congratulating us. Love, love, love!!!

Absolutely lovely place. Right in the heart of the old town. Fantastic for parking and all free. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by in fact the restaurant and bar right next to Fornet Altea was wonderful. Had a fantastic time and would highly recommend. Very quite area and the Hostel was super clean. Well done .

Shops and restaurants nearby. 5 minutes downhill to the pebble beach with its cafes and promenade. Then 10 minutes uphill to the top of Altea old town - stunning scenery.
