In 13 minutes you can walk to Portlligat, home to Dalí's summer house, which has now been converted into a fantastic museum. Cap de Creus Natural Park is just a 15-minute drive away and it appears in many of Dalí's paintings. Figueres is 45 minutes' drive away, and you can drive to the French border in an hour.
