This hotel features in an old French comedy Mr Hulot’s Holidays so we’re looking forward to watching it on DVD when we get home, and there’s a lovely bronze sculpture of the character on the promenade.

Staff were extremely helpful. Great on theme decor. Lovely for a special stay, but history comes with wear and tear, so don't expect all the decor to be pristine, it has lots of character. Coffee shop and beach a favourite of locals.
