On Eastbourne seafront, Ebor Lodge offers well-appointed rooms and a full breakfast menu. This East Sussex guest house has free Wi-Fi and is within 15 minutes’ walk of the Royal Hippodrome Theatre and the town’s 1930s bandstand.

The host David was a lovely person who took great care of us at serving breakfast and answering to inquiries. The B&B was absolutely adorable with its attention to details from the Christmas decorations, to the sweets on your bedside table to the earplugs and sewing thread in the drawer. Every little thing was thought of.

Lovely communal areas good interior design. Nicely decorated for Christmas. Staff friendly and helpful. Clearly had an up grade on my room as it was huge and had a sea view which I didn’t ask for or pay for. Can’t rate this hotel more highly.

An Inn with a boutique hotel feel. A buzzy atmosphere in the bar and very welcoming, helpful staff. Bedroom quite small but brilliant design in bathroom of wardrobe and ironing board. Coffee and tea making facilities all excellent. Good position for walking by the sea. Very good restaurant and sensibly priced breakfast if required. Would definitely stay again.
