A 4-start boutique hotel with an award-winning restaurant set in the beautiful Towy Valley at the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, surrounded by castles, country houses and the National Botanical Garden of Wales.

We liked everything about this hotel. We paid extra for the SUPERIOR room, you get an extra sofa bed if needed. The room was of a good size, bathroom as expected, with a shower over the bath. The room was quiet and warm The TV & WiFi were great. The breakfast was EXCELLENT, English & Welsh Breakfast options. The evening restaurant was very enjoyable, but lacking in atmosphere due to its size. The breakfast room had great views across open countryside. This is a very nice hotel, and YES we would rebook as it's so good, an amazing find in such a beautiful location, easy for the ferry ports, shopping and access to the midlands etc.

Each of the spacious, individually designed rooms feature a seating area, TV and DVD player. Bathrobes and hair dryers are provided and free wired internet is available.

The room was clean and comfortable. We were at the front of the hotel which was a bit noisy early in the morning but the traffic was very light at night so we had no trouble sleeping. The breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order. We ate in the restaurant in the evenings and the food was excellent and again plentiful. The staff were all very friendly and attentive.

Far exceeded my expectations! We stayed in the house, and the room was absolutely gorgeous. Our bathroom was separate to the room but just next door and just for our use, and was beautifully done complete with a fabulous claw foot bath. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Location and surrounding gardens were stunning. We had breakfast in the orangery which was a lovely space and the breakfast itself had lots of options, all very tasty.

Continental cold breakfast provided with Artisan Bread, variety of cheeses, A colourful fruit Bowl and assorted meats. Everyone was really attentive and dog friendly. Even providing a bed and treats for the dog. Our room was lovely, Linen and Towels immaculate. We had a private bathroom with a powerful shower and Rolled top bath. The 23acre grounds for walking were fabulous. Loved the decor in the Manor House. So beautifully designed.

Beautifully clean cottage, sometimes we've had bad experiences of dog friendly places, but you'd never know dogs had stayed here, everywhere was sparkling and fresh. Stunning design - all the stone work/exposed beams/cosy fireplace you want from a quaint cottage with all the mid cons you need. Set in a lovely location and very helpful owner, what more could you ask!
