The building is gorgeous, really stunning, and you feel very special on arriving. Lovely decor, loads of history, feels very 5 star. Our room was beautiful, high standard of everything, big comfortable bed, no faults at all. Great spa facilities, with gowns and flip flops provided in your room, a 5 star health spa experience. Waiter drinks service to spa too. The hotel also has a Michelin starred restaurant, although we didn't dine there.

the staff were all amazing! especially the gentleman in the glasses who served us breakfast, manned reception and did the golf…all by himself! the room was clean and beautifully renovated and designed, felt very opulent. dinner was very yummy, as was breakfast. seriously can’t believe it’s only a 3* it deserves so much more. it’s definitely more of a luxury hotel now the renovations are done.

The Craft House is exceptional. Clearly designed and run by people who know and care about how they do things. Full of character, great design and decor, the antithesis of a bland corporate hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Quiet room, superbly comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. An absolute 10/10
