Situated in Scarborough, the family-run Almar hotel is just 2 minutes’ walk from Peasholm Park and 5 minutes from the sandy beach. It has a bar, free parking, and free Wi-Fi.

Each room has a private en suite bathroom, and is furnished in a modern style. Guests can make use of a flat-screen TV in their room, and there are facilities for making tea and coffee.

Another wonderful stay at the Alma. Our second stay and we weren't disappointed. We stayed in the newly refurbished room 9, well done John & Julie, what a transformation. We loved the bar for socialising and met some lovely people. As always John and Julie were fantastic , nothing was too much trouble, always had a smile on their faces. John, yet again breakfast was unbelievable and apologies as on the last morning it did defeat me lol. Can not wait to return. Keep doing what you're doing because your doing it spot on.

This place might be my best stay at a bed and breakfast style hotel. Nice reception, good breakfast, nice help to find excellent places to both eat at have a look around. I struggle to find negatives at all. 5 out of 5, would try to come again to visit this place if I will be close to this area. Worth every penny and more.

The living area was absolutely stunning, the interior design was gorgeous. I loved the big windows and ceiling making it light and airy. It was comfortable and with everything you would need for either a short or long stay. I loved there were two bathrooms and it was very quirky having one of the bedrooms down some stairs. The towels, bedding and toilet rolls were all provided. it It was brilliant having parking permits for all of our stay and also two sets of door keys.
