Houseboat Hotels offer a unique guest experience within fully equipped, static houseboats situated in Sheffield’s Victoria Quays. All fully heated boats are just a 5-minute walk from Sheffield city centre.

The boat was comfortable, well equipped with everything you need for a stay away, we were visiting from France and the boat allowed us freedom to do as we wanted during our stay. Cooked our breakfasts on board too and had family over to visit us. There are bars and a Cafe within feet of the boat if you wanted to use them and easy to get into the town on foot or on the tram

The Leopold is a 4-star unique hotel amid the shops, restaurants and bars of Sheffield city centre. Built in 1800, it has stylish, air-conditioned rooms and a lounge bar serving light meals and afternoon teas.

My second stay at the Leopold, and it will be my choice of hotel on my next trip to Sheffield too. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful staff and we were surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was totally unexpected and made our stay even more special.

A very nice boutique hotel, good welcome, easy check in and very good staff. Lovely well equipped and comfortable room, great bathroom, all spotlessly clean. Good food, small plate-tapas style. Lots of good considerations, GF well dealt with, nice touches in room each day (thank you) and obvious care and thought into everything.

Basic but good continental breakfast and the location of the hotel was fine! Very easy to get into the centre walking or by taxi. Staff were friendly. The building is new and modern and for a budget hotel I thought it was really rather good! The downstairs bar area has a very chilled vibe and the design was sleek and modern. Good food and beverage options to purchase and check in / check out was quick and easy. Rooms were basic and clean and the bed was comfy!

Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist who checked us in and took us to our room. We stayed in the 'Robin's Hollow' room. When we walked in there were 2 pieces of fresh home made cake waiting for us. The room looked gorgeous, very well decorated and the bathroom was also stunning. We didnt use the dressing gowns provided but it was a nice touch. Loved the Nespresso coffee machine & cute jug of water in the fridge, it's the small touches that make a difference. Bed was super comfortable!
