The individually styled and designed en suite bedrooms at Lainston House are full of character, some rooms featuring an elegant four-poster bed or roll-top bath. All are fully equipped with spa toiletries, tea/coffee facilities and amazing extras like the pillow menu.

The property was full of old world charm - an exceptional place to stay - we ate at the formal dining room and had a wonderful dining experience. The staff (in particular the sommelier) were excellent and went above and beyond what should be expected of them.

This 4-star Georgian coaching inn offers a traditional pub and restaurant serving fresh local produce. Surrounded by Hampshire countryside, it features individually styled rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Dating back to 1810, The Kings Head is fitted with antique furnishings and fireplaces. It is supposed that the inn was given its present name for its close connection with the family of Oliver Cromwell.

Very charming and professional staff in a most lovely setting with cozy rooms in a darling Hampshire village. Quite close to Winchester and there's some public transport if you don't have a car to get you down to Hursley. Worth a detour for the Sunday roast!

The setting and hotel design is quite special, with beautiful gardens left natural and surrounded by trees which add to a lovely atmostphere. We liked the décor details and the overall feel is charming. The pool is excellent with gorgeous views of the gardens. It's a perfect location for a visit to Marwell zoo.

Lovely interior design and attention to detail. Very stylish and well thought out layout of the room and shared living space. Really nice shower gel, shampoo, etc (I don't normally notice). Top marks for the ethical loo paper and extra points for having my favourite brand of unbleached tea bags! And thank you for the excellent welcome chocolate (delicious!). So pleased to have found Two Bare Feet, really enjoyed my stay and look forward to coming back again. Thank you Hannah.

The whole environment and interior design was quirky and interesting and as expected having read the reviews. Great to be able to access the kitchen area and get a hot drink at any time day or night. Breakfast was fine. Plumbing was quite quiet considering (can be so noisy in these places), ensuite shower was nice and the bathroom overall was lovely. Car parking nearby was useful.

Our stay at Esme’s was absolutely delightful. Perfectly situated for easy access to all that Winchester has to offer. Esme was very welcoming and an exceptional host. Our room was decorated beautifully - such an eye for interior design! Everything was spotless and we had such a good sleep as the bed was so comfortable. Lovely extras left for us to enjoy. Would highly recommend.
