The Stop is an absolutely wonderful place to stay in Galway. We loved every part of our time there. The staff are welcoming, kind, and helpful. We had a delicious breakfast each morning and a comfortable place to sleep each night. The entire house is charming and relaxing. It has a common areas for all to enjoy, and so we were able to put our 2 young children to bed upstairs while we relaxed downstairs. We would 100% stay here again.

Well, I would say everything was grand. My granddaughter, Molly, would say the two little dogs. She had to greet them both days and play with them when possible and had a long "goodbye" with them. Very glad I chose Claremount House for our first and only BNB!

The hotel is absolutely adorable: a historic, 200 year old building turned into a modern boutique hotel with elegance, grace and perfect taste. Naturally, the room was not very large, but everything fit in perfectly. The owners were very nice, and helpful in every way. Breakfast very good and varied, and the location could not be better: right in the middle of everything.

Lovely welcome from friendly staff with big smiles 😃 Gorgeous design, artwork and decor. Well stocked mini bar, Lovely bathroom with robes (couldn't find the slippers though!). Comfy bed, hair dryer and straighteners. The utdoor heated pool was a surprise and beautiful on a cold rainy day! Great cocktails in Sophies on the rooftop. Excellent service in Sophies too but we didn't have dinner, just drinks.

This is a really nice boutique hotel, which excels in paying attention to detail in the design of the rooms. I have stayed here several times and will undoubtedly stay here again. The decor is simple, tasteful, and very functional, something that I like. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom and the shower. The food served by the restaurant is nice, and the portions just right (no food wastage).

The interior design and room furnishings are of such high quality and the mattress was so comfortable to sleep on. The heated outdoor pool and sauna/steam room is nice to try out too. Dinner in Sophies was lovely, again, the new build and style of the building is so nice.

Room was tidy and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for nicer and more on hand staff. Never was left wanting for anything. Food was lovely. Bar and restaurant was cosy and we enjoyed the interior design. Location was in an estate which was unusual but was extremely close to Salthill which was ideal. Overall good value for money and would return again.
