We enjoyed the Butler breakfast. We liked being able to go through the garden area and cross the street to visit Kilkenny Castle. Butler House was richly appointed and is of historical value. The staff was very accommodating, and the location could not be beat. We would not hesitate to come back for a visit.

Amazing breakfast. No buffet but served on the table with excellent choice for 15 Euros. Location is fine, very near the castle. It is a bit far from the Big green bus stop, but the town is small and with normal luggage it is managable. The room was very big and the window could be opened which is something I like.
