Absolutely everything was excellent and exceptional. Friendly and accommodating host, excellent property, and incredible value. Breakfast was cooked exceptionally well and had a variety and quality that exceeded any hotel I've ever stayed at. If you're anywhere in the area stay here.

Rooms are individually decorated with a lovely country house style. The rooms all have en suite showers, satellite TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Irons, hairdryers and telephones are also provided and free Wi-Fi is available throughout.

Great rooms, on the ground floor, were so comfortable. Staff were happy to accommodate requests, and provide vegan options at breakfast and dinner. Super comfortable chairs and sofa in suites. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the Jacuzzi bath was a great, luxury addition. Maura, the other reception staff and the breakfast staff made us feel welcome and appreciated, and were happy to accommodate our requests. The Ivy Lounge has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff there were professional and efficient, and attentive without being fussy. Our party included 1 vegan, and we tried most items on the menu during our stay. All our choices were very good. Will definitely recommend to friends and would love to stay there again.

The river runs rapidly next to the house and provides a lovely lullaby. our room had a huge bed and once again was decorated beautifully. fantastic rain shower! the breakfast room and breakfast served was one of our best! try and make sure you sit next to the window so you can see the river. altogether a delight!

The staff were very friendly and the room was immaculate. You will have the best night sleep in the cosy beds available.
