I asked for a free upgrade as we were celebrating a birthday and he gave us full choice of any room we wanted. I chose the best room, 3 upgrades higher, all at no extra cost. He went out of his way to give us a great breakfast and allowed us late check out till 1. The room was large and comfortable, tastefully designed with a lovely patio. The area was also lovely, a bit more quiet and lots of galleries/boutique shops/cafes to explore nearby

The lobby has a modern coffee machine and some cookies which is a nice perk. The shower is spacious and you receive a nice kit of accessories. In the room there is coffee/tea and a small fridge. Beds were comfy and the balcony was nice. Free parking for the hotel's guests was an advantage (although midday summer can get a bit busy in the parking lot)
