Hotel Villa Marie is one of the best places we've stayed in our years of travelling to different countries. Our rooms have the view of Lake Como and waking up to this view every morning was simply magical. My husband and I, together with our 2 children went to Lake Como to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. When the staff learned of this, they offered the rooftop terrace of the hotel which had a magnificent view of the lake so we could take nice photos on the day of our renewal of vows ceremony. In the morning of our renewal of vows, when the staff learned that I needed to iron my husband's suit, they let me use their laundry area for free. The staff of Hotel Villa Marie : Elizabeth and husband Andrea, Stephanie and Sarah, were all wonderful. We loved our stay so much and their generosity to us that we left a simple gift of Swiss chocolates to them to let them know how much we appreciate them.

This location was perfect, the room was very comfortable, and everything was clean. The balcony in the room was cozy and beautiful. My husband and I had a wonderful time in Bellagio, and this place was the top of our stay. The staff was helpful, and the breakfast for the guests was wonderful!! I would recommend this place and look forward to staying here again.

Views are spectacular over the lake. Can never tire of them. Andrea a very obliging host and has done a lovely job designing the 3 apartments we booked. Hotel has old world charm and is very clean and efficient. Lovely view of lake. It’s a very good quality 4 star hotel - sure you don’t get the 5 star glitz and glamour - but this feels like a genuine Italian experience. Pool area is lovely and has lots of chairs which is great.

Very close to both lake boat navigation stop in Cadenabbia and also to the C10 bus just outside hotel. Hotel is family run and holds many little Italian nuances. Breakfast had a very good mix from cereals to pastries. Cold meat, Cheese, Eggs, Bread, jams, honey, marmalade, Nutella, juice and course the obligatory coffee from a brand new machine. Perfecto. Thank you for a lovely 10 day holiday.

The location is perfect for getting to know Lago di Como, with a lot of villas and the ferry terminal to Bellagio right around the corner. The host Andrea was really friendly and delivered great service, even for demanding guests like us who had a lot of special requests :)
