This hotel is a 5 star boutique hotel at a very good price. The architecture and decor are stunning. And the staff is absolutely delightful. The views are magical like everywhere in Kandy, but this place is very special.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The views from my room were breathtaking, offering an amazing view of the mountains. The room was large and comfortable with a modern interior design which added a touch of luxury to my experience. The hotel’s convenient location to the city made exploring landmarks and attractions a breeze. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. They made me a delicious breakfast based on my preferences. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Kandy.

Stunning location, right beside the river. Very quiet and secluded. It is more than worth to be outside Kandy around 10 km. Big pool for relaxing after sightseeing and in the evening trees are illuminated. Boutique character with only 26 rooms. Newest Jetwing property operating since 2020, interior design is fantastic and new. Wonderful breakfasts.

We had a very lovely stay! We loved the well designed modern room, it was very clean and comfortable. We also loved the gorgeous view from the balcony - pure unspoiled nature! The area is very quiet, totally in the hills and yet a quick tuktuk away from kandy. We enjoyed a walk around the lovely neighborhood. The food was great, local sri Lankan cuisine. We got filtered water at the house so we didn't buy bottled water, which is much more sustainable. We highly Hanathana house for your home base in the kandy region!

The Kandy House - lovely place, we only spent one night, but we loved it. Slightly overpriced as it’s more of a boutique residence hotel which gives a homely feel, rather than a luxury 5 star. The pool was great and service was very good also compared to other places where we’ve been in Sri Lanka. Food was tasty also and had good variety. Only downside they don’t have driver accommodation, only outside of the hotel and it’s extra cost

Breathtaking views of the mountains from your room. Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel, incredibly peaceful and well equipped. The rooms were gorgeous, comfortable and clean. The views were truly unbeatable and the balcony allows you privacy to appreciate the true beauty. The two lovely guys running the place were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our time there and the food was incredible too! The rooftop was the perfect place to get photos of the stunning sunset! Only wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Rating: ★★★★★ The apartment itself was stunning. It had a modern and stylish design that made me feel right at home. The attention to detail in the furnishings and decor was impressive, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The apartment was also spotlessly clean, which was a big plus.

Square Peg is a really stylish boutique hotel with a great view of Kandy. The city is pretty busy, so this was a wonderful haven away from it all. The restaurant at the top of the hotel is open air and was an amazing spot to have the incredible breakfast overlooking the city. The room (and jacuzzi on the balcony?!) were really trendy and it was nice to treat ourselves to a bit of luxury in the middle of our trip.

A truly wonderful place! The house is stunning, set away from Kandy’s hectic centre in a quiet, tranquil street (however, the centre is still conveniently close!). The house has beautiful gardens, gorgeous interior design, and lovely bedrooms. However, for me, the real stand out were the hosts who were so incredibly warm, friendly, and hospitable. They really went beyond the call of duty to help us out and were just wonderful people to interact with. The loveliest couple ever! If I go back to Kandy, I will definitely stay again!!
