One of the best places we visited during our stay in Sri Lanka. They have fabulous rooms. You feel like an aristocrat living in the 19th century during breakfast and dinner and regard that you didn't bring a suit with you. The facility is located near a tea field that you can visit, also the hotel organized a tour to the nearest tea factory which was also an excellent experience.

I had an amazing stay at the Golf Green City Bungalow, a stunning boutique hunting lodge!! The room was unlike anything I'd ever seen before, and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel staff were incredibly dedicated, professional, efficient, and also very kind and authentic. The central location was great, and I had some great trips with the advice of the experienced hotel manager, Sudharshini. The food was also amazing, with tasty dinners and breakfasts prepared by chef Chandra. The service provided by Dharshi was excellent, and the warm atmosphere made my stay even more delightful. I was delighted with my experience and want to thank everyone for making my stay so memorable. I will come back soon!

The location is on a steep hill but worth the climb for the amazing views of Lovers leap waterfall, the highest peak and all across Nuwara Eliya. The balcony is a great spot to chill in and have breakfast and it’s only 5 minute walk to the waterfall, 10 mins to tea plantation and a short tuktuk ride into town. Would love to return!

It was very cold and stormy weather so the heated blanket was lovely and cosy. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast and a very generous and enjoyed Sri Lankan breakfast. Ate two evening meals also which were good and very generous portions.

This is evident as you enter the boutique hotel, with its rustic and Sri Lankan vibes. The rooms are very spacious and from the ground rooms has a nice bayview to the garden. We went for the bed and breakfast option and had a very nice English breakfast. We have already recommended Chimneys to our family and friends and will definitely stay in touch with Gavin for interior design advice for our future home.amandaYoung couple
