I loved the authentic old world Dutch ambience. It's what I came to the Netherlands for. I experienced it as comfortable and serviceable and hope it is maintained and not renovated. The delightfully eccentric touches included sculpted clouds on the ceiling of my room. I loved the over the top decoration of the the breakfast room. It helped to wake me up each morning. There was a generous spread with Dutch style egg salad my favourite. The staff were welcoming at all times, and the value for money was what motivated me to choose the Hotel Hoogland.

The room was excellent, clean, spacious and very well fitted out. The shower was clean and hot. There was plenty of room for my clothes and the room had god light and ventilation. The instructions for entry after the reception was closed were excellent. No complaints at all, everything was good
