My friend and I initially stayed at The Aryatara Kathmandu for 3 nights before heading to Janakpur. After a week in Janakpur, our plan was to stay at a different hotel upon returning to Kathmandu. However, the exceptional service, room cleanliness, delightful restaurant cuisine, and the friendly, accommodating manager and staff left such a positive impression that I decided to pay the cancellation fee at the other hotel just to return to Aryatara. Every morning, we were warmly greeted by the staff during the delightful breakfast service. The barista impressed us with excellent coffee, the front desk team was consistently eager to assist, the dinner staff provided stellar service, the housekeepers maintained a high standard, and the manager went above and beyond. He not only arranged a tour and a flight to the Himalayas but also, on a Nepali holiday, took the time to procure much-needed medicine for me. For your money's worth in Kathmandu, you won't find a better deal, and I would venture to say that regardless of how much you pay elsewhere, you couldn't match the exceptional service offered at The Aryatara.
