If you need to be in the CBD this will not be fore you however it is only a very short walk to the train station. I can't rate the Quiet Quarter highly enough everything anyone could possibly need. Great value for money for such a spacious apartment and comfortable beds. We had small problems with WiFi in the beginning but the hotel's maintenance person was there in a heartbeat fixing the problems. The front desk staff were very competent and welcoming. We saw some negative reviews about lack of housekeeping, but for us this was never a problem. In fact for tidy people like us we liked not being disturbed as one of us was sick and stayed in the room the majority of our stay. Perfect to be able to park at a nearby garage (extra fee). This was a lovely bonus as we made a last minute booking. The smoke alarm is very good! Guests can feel very safe in this hotel

We also used the boat to Waihike Island having a wonderful day on the explorer bus to three wineries. The shops and pubs surrounding the quest are minutes walk away. The apartment is small but had everything we needed to use it as our base. The staff are lovely
