We loved the view from the living room. The bed was very confi and Rosemary really friendly. We felt like home and really welcome! Outside the house you can start nice walks and you are quite close to the beach

We liked the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The whole property was well designed and well cared for. The room was very clean and well-equipped. There was a wide view of the bay from our 1st-floor room and balcony. The large corner bath was easy to use because it had a seat.

It's a lovely stylish old house which is not missing modern features such as electrics heaters and blankets, warm shower. Note that for some reason Bookings doesn't send check-in instruction via email or SMS. It can be found in Booking Chat only.

The double glazed panorama window created peaceful and relaxing ambiance. The decor was classy and stylish and clearly reflected the care and dedication by the owners to please. This was so 5 star. This rates as one of my top stays and other visitors who dropped in all rated it highly. Great touch with the LED lights in the cabinet. Woohoo.

The perfect getaway - warm welcome to a beautiful space that's private but close to town and shops. Gorgeous location, and the unique design, high ceilings, stained glass windows and skylights made for a lovely stay. Mel and Greg couldn't have been more attentive, even going to the shop to suit our allergy needs on short notice. Hosts were also super generous with tips on where to eat/drink and places to see nearby. Wouldn't hesitate to book again and felt like we made friends in the process. A+

A truly lovely place, that is stylishly designed. Has all the modern facilities you would want but still leaving a touch of NZ history. The beds were amazing and being able to have a fire was an extra special treat. It had such a lovely welcoming feeling. Wish we could have stayed longer!
