Wonderful gardens with a large pool. Parking right outside our apartment. The property is secure with gated access. Gorgeous views all round. A really lovely place. Highly recommend We ate at a super local restaurant called “Ponto de Encontro”. 3 courses for 2 people plus drinks and all for €37. Rooms are nicely designed and very clean. Cosy common area with a fireplace downstairs. The host is extremely friendly and accommodating. Tasty breakfast with locally produced ingredients. Definitely have to follow host’s advice for dinner place - very local simple place with small menu but food food so delicious and fresh!

Joaquim and his son Joaquim Jr were incredibly graceful, and helpful, right down to driving on very short notice into town to help us with an issue with our car. The town is lovely, the region is stunning, and it was a pity we only had two nights there - we will be back.
