Located in Vila Do Bispo, Hotel Mira Sagres has antique facades and overlooks the 16th century Mother Church. It features modern rooms, spa facilities (extra service - paid separately) and an indoor pool (it is not possible to use the pool during swimming lessons - except July and August).

After a long hike this hotel took care of all of our needs! We were able to use the pool, get a massage and get all of our hiking clothes laundered. The village hotel was central and very comfortable with helpful staff. The breakfast had a good selection and it was close to the trail. Not many options to dine, we chose a Portuguese place and it was ok, a little greasy but good value.

When we got settled and explored the hotel and grounds more it was not an issue (note this was a budget room, other rooms have sea views and balconies) There was a lovely Continental breakfasts in the morning and no rush to move us on. For this basic room it’s a good night stay to explore the town, it will a bit cramped if it’s bad weather and you’re there for longer.

Simple but good breakfast of meats, cheeses, hard-boiled eggs, fruits, breads, cereal, even gluten free cereal and of course pastries.
