The rooms are dark and old, but they are clean. The Wi-Fi works well, they provide basic toiletries, there's a desk to use one's laptop. Recently, the hotel is investing to improve: they changed the design of the lobby, they hired young and extremely nice English-speaking staff, they added vending machines.

The room was quite large and absolutely spotless. Staff was kind and helpful, and I liked the cosy design of the hotel. The mattress is quite firm to Western European standards but the bed was comfortable. With a breakfast, it wouldn't be far from a 4*. I found the price more than reasonable for the quality of the hotel.

We loved the design, the public area library (even a great selection of books), the room, very helpful and nice staff. Guests could borrow vinyls from the reception to play in their rooms. All the details are so aligned and stylish. Location is great too-- a few min of walk for sightseeing and food. Breakfast is amazing. We had options to choose the main while enjoying the breakfast buffet! We will definitely come back!
