Housed in a renovated Art Nouveau building from 1899, the Hotel Romance is situated in the spa centre of Karlovy Vary, close to the Hot Geyser Spring and the Market Colonnade.

The Restaurant Romance with a summer terrace serves Czech and international cuisine as well as aromatic coffee. The hotel is right in the center, everything was within couple minutes of walking. The staff was nice and the breakfast was great.

Hotel Retro Riverside Wellness Resort is set in Březová, near the forest and the water dam and offers free WiFi, a restaurant serving international cuisine, and spa and wellness facilities free of charge. Our children selected this place to celebrate my birthday. They couldn't have found a better place. The hotel is truly amazing. The location, out of town and close to the river, is beautiful. Everything speaks RELAX. The views either from the restaurant or from the room, the pool, and the SPA set the environment for a great stay. The staff, especially Sonya and the General Manager are very welcoming, always there to help, and very hospitable. Upon reception, Sonya was ready to support our needs, she made sure that our room would be ready even if we arrived a little bit earlier and offered a welcome drink while we waited. She also provided an overview of the facilities and instructions on how to use the SPA. She gave us directions to town, where to park, and places to visit. The room is beyond expectations, spacious, with a view of the river, and spotless. King-size bed and a fully equipped bathroom. A safe also that will be part of another story :) We enjoyed the SPA. There are 5 different types of saunas, well-prepared, and clean: Jacuzzi and pool. Massage service is in place. Now the Safe story. We had such a wonderful time and felt so relaxed that even though we always checked the room to avoid leaving anything behind, on this occasion we left our passports. We realized upon arrival at the airport, 2 hours away. After the shocking find, we called the hotel and both reception and the general manager took immediate care of the incident. They found our passports, negotiated transport, and in less than 2 hours we had our passports back. Talking with the general manager, the quick support we received kept our holidays still on track. What could have been a nightmare was a quick fixable event thanks to them. Muchas gracias from Costa Rica.

Hotel Saint Petersburg is located on the Tepla River Bank, in Karlovy Vary’s spa area and opposite the Grandhotel Pupp. Built in the early 1800s, the hotel offers an on-site restaurant.

Free internet access and a LCD satellite TV with DVD player are standard in every room. All spacious rooms have a minibar, telephone and electronic safe. We arrived in the late afternoon. We asked for parking place in front of the hotel and it was waiting for us just a step from the front door 👍(extra 15€/one day) The receptionist acomodated us into larger room, so kids had their own room. The suite was fantastic, old but well preserved and furnished. A lot of towels and a fantastic shampoo. Breakfast was great, a lot for every taste, coffee could be better. Dining room is quite small, when we entered, we couldn't sit together, but instantly one older couple switced places with us. Lady in the dining room was running all the time up and down and took care for the buffet, so it was all the time full. 😉

The hotel Romania in Karlovy Vary can be found in the centre of the spa and commercial district, right at the Teplá River and 550 metres from the Mill Colonnade. It offers large, en-suite rooms with free WiFi, and a restaurant serving Czech and international cuisine. A stair lift for disabled guest is available as well. Conveniently located close to train and bus stations as well to the main spa avenue. Staff is helpful and forthcoming but not servile. Not a Russian ownership.

The apartments also feature an equipped kitchen. This is a beautiful hotel in the perfect location. Tomas was so helpful and kind. He went above and beyond to make this a great experience. The hotel is so cool and elegant. My family and I loved staying here and will be coming back.

A former summer residence of the countess of Schaumburg Lippe, the small but stylish Villa Basileia Riverside is peacefully situated on the bank of the Teplá river, close to the spa area.

This property houses the Le Marché experience restaurant, run by chef Honza Krajč. There is a daily menu offered, using fresh seasonal ingredients. Selected French and Moravian wines and champagnes offered to complement the dining treats. Nice and quiet, not too big not too small. Safe parking inside the garden, gates closed and cameras are watching. You really don't want to miss the restaurant - good food and excellent service; very good breakfast. Really friendly staff.
