After a very warm welcome, we entered the apartments. They look even better than on the pictures, and have very nice ambiance, that perfectly matches the black forest. We had a 2 day stay only to visit the Rhine waterfalls in Schaffhaussen, Triberg and Feldberg (for some snow). The town nearby (900m) has a nice supermarket. Our host offered to bring fresh buns every morning, which is a good start of the day.

The 4-star Hotel Rathausglöckel was built in the 16th century. The rooms and suites are fully renovated and individually furnished with cable TV. The breakfast was outstanding, as were the staff. Jasmine was exceedingly kind, her English very very good. The rooms were spacious, very clean, very comfortable and quiet. We went to the Terrace after breakfast to hear the church bells at St Peter’s church. We were very happy to be back in Baden Baden!
