Free Wi-Fi, a business centre and private parking can also be found on site. the breakfast was wonderful: fresh fruit, juice, pastries of all sorts, eggs and sausages, etc. were all very good the atmosphere of the hotel was great, quiet, with great amenities: bar, pool, message salon, and a highly-rated restaurant on the premises the location was excellent, close to everything it seemed within a 10 minute walk most impressively was the staff; I have stayed at countless excellent hotels, but the staff and its service of this hotel was off the charts--awesome is not enough to express our estimation of the staff

It offers a wine bar and wellness centre, which includes a spa bath, sauna, hammam and massage room. The staff was fantastic, caring, and very helpful. On the evening of our arrival, we had a bit of trouble with our Covid certificate and couldn’t get into a restaurant. Late at night, Sophie helped us to fix the certificate (just an IT problem) AND ran to their on site kitchen to make sure we didn’t go to bed hungry. The rest of the staff was just as friendly and sweet during the rest of our trip. Thank you Sophie and staff at Le Bouclier D’or!

The reception needs to be a little more friendly and that will make a huge difference.

A free private parking is available on site. The villa is absolutely gorgeous - we had a room with a mountain view & it was incredibly beautiful! The room itself was spacious, clean & decorated in a very unique and authentic way. Breakfast was good - nothing spectacular except for the homemade croissants which were delicious. In terms of location, I would advise to have a car, the city center is not really accessible by foot, especially by night. We really loved our stay & hoping we’ll be back!
