It was close to the highway, but quiet and quaint! The complimentary breakfast was a huge plus - with local honey and granola, too! The owner was exceptionally friendly and generous.

Located in Candé-sur-Beuvron, l’Auberge de la Caillère - Teritoria is 15 km from Blois and 20 km from the Château de Cheverny. It had been a lovely experience staying at this charming hotel for the New Year's Eve weekend. The rooms are really cozy, well-equipped, clean and tastefully decorated. The location was also great as there several castles around you can visit within 30 minutes drive. The breakfast buffet was complete and delicious. The 2 restaurants inside offered very good food. The gastronomic menu we had for the NYE dinner was such a great experience! Everything on the menu was delectable! The staff are really helpful, thoughtful, nice and friendly. Highly recommended indeed!

La Maison Jules was a lovely B&B close to the train station on a quiet street. Also close to the cathedral and the Musée des Beaux Arts. Alexandra was so helpful. Her made to order breakfasts were fabulous. Some of the other (French) guests and Alaxandra even helped me with my bad French!!! The decor is eclectic with an excellent private bathroom. I loved my stay there as well as Tours. I’d definitely stay here again.
