Also close to the station and 25 minute walk to the cathedral so don't need a car there. The lounge room was a big plus with nespresso coffee, tea and infusions. Really can't fault it

So French and the gardens were stunning. like a national trust! the pool was new and very nice. breakfast was a great continental spread. the beds were comfy and it was quiet. the lake was beautiful and the owners were friendly with good English. nearby Vierzon was 15 minute drive and had a lovely canal with restaurants and shops.
