Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above.

All of the rooms offer a satellite TV and views of the Loire River and of the chateau. Five of these rooms still have their original decor (Louis XVI, Restoration, Empire periods). Rooms with views of the river or castle are available upon request. Wonderful location looking at the Loire, nicely decorated rooms, great breakfast. The staff was very helpful and kind, they really paid attention to offer a great service. We loved the sauna service too!

This accommodation is on the top floor of a beautiful old town house on a quiet street within 5 minutes of the medieval old town of Le Mans. The suite is spacious with a separate lounge, the bed was very comfortable, there's a fabulous bathroom and there is interesting artwork, antiques and curios throughout the house. Our hosts were warm, knowledgable about the area and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious with juice, coffee, pastries and homemade preserves and jams. We stayed for 2 nights and it was very comfortable. Good for a single person or couple.

The property is amazing, a very relaxing spot in the midst of a hectic trip. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The swimming pool was a great way to cool down after a day of driving and touring. The common area provided a pleasant place to spend the evening reading and playing games. We enjoyed a great dinner as well as a fantastic breakfast prepared by the hosts. Roger and Susan are superb hosts, providing everything needed for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Set in an elegant townhouse dating back to the 18th century, Hôtel Le Gentleman is located in La Flèche and offers a large garden, a terrace and a bar. Free Wi-Fi access is provided and guests are invited to relax by the fireplace in the lounge. we really enjoyed the hotel, lovely property and garden, tastefully decorated, the beds were VERY comfortable, the breakfast was perfect, had local products too, a little gem in La Fleche. We would go there again without thinking twice!

Having been on the bicycle for 7 weeks and 1500mi, Chateau de Belle Poule was perfect to relax, watch the sunset with a glass of wine and watch the sunrise with a coffee. Everything was thought of by the hosts. Very clean, spacious, and we really enjoyed the mid-1800's buildings. Covered bicycle storage inside the gated complex was provided.
