Close to the centre of Saumur, the hotel Anne D'Anjou is overlooking the river and has a view of the chateau above. Wonderful location looking at the Loire, nicely decorated rooms, great breakfast. The staff was very helpful and kind, they really paid attention to offer a great service. We loved the sauna service too!

This accommodation is on the top floor of a beautiful old town house on a quiet street within 5 minutes of the medieval old town of Le Mans. The suite is spacious with a separate lounge, the bed was very comfortable, there's a fabulous bathroom and there is interesting artwork, antiques and curios throughout the house. Our hosts were warm, knowledgable about the area and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious with juice, coffee, pastries and homemade preserves and jams. We stayed for 2 nights and it was very comfortable. Good for a single person or couple.

The property is amazing, a very relaxing spot in the midst of a hectic trip. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The swimming pool was a great way to cool down after a day of driving and touring. The common area provided a pleasant place to spend the evening reading and playing games. We enjoyed a great dinner as well as a fantastic breakfast prepared by the hosts. Roger and Susan are superb hosts, providing everything needed for a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay.
