After excellent communication with Diane before our arrival, we were warmly greeted by James, who provided us with very good recommendations for local meals and services. Location is very convenient. Our room (deluxe double) was large, with a big, comfortable bed, an armchair, and a loveseat by the bay window. Parking is available right at the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel. 😊

Inverlea Guest House is elegant and modern and serves a full Scottish breakfast, with vegetarian options. There are many restaurants in the local area. The perfect place to stay! We were warmly welcomed as soon as we rang the bell, by both Liz and Douglas. We arrived to find a gift from a previous guest left on the doorstep, which I took as a very good sign! The house is immaculate, it’s cosy and quiet, it even smells wonderful. We were given an option of 2 rooms and Douglas got us set up in the one we picked, even bringing our luggage up. The rooms are well set up with lovely beds, good internet, a nice tv and a great shower. And all the pillows you could ever need. Breakfast was excellent, and there was a pretty wide selection of choices. The house is right next door to a fab restaurant, and it’s not a far walk to other good food options and the rest of town. A ten minute walk finds you at the beach.
