Portree
With spectacular views across Portree Harbour, Coolin View Guest House is situated in Portree centre. There is free parking and free WiFi.
Set in a grand 1920s building, the cosy bedrooms at Coolin View each have tea/coffee facilities and a TV. Rooms also feature a private bathroom, and most have views across the harbour or Coolin Hills.
The hosts of Coolin View were the best we worked with in Scotland! They were very quick with responses, and when we had a small miscommunication with booking.com, they got down to the bottom of it immediately. We arrived to Portee late (after hosts had left for the evening) and they even made sure to send us a message asking how our arrival/journey was. Check-in after hours couldn't have been simpler, which we were very grateful.
We had a Harbour facing view which ended up being one of the best views in the town; we woke up to the sun rising over the horizon, shining a beautiful light on the cute multi- colored buildings.
My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! Will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back on the Isle of Skye

With breath taking views over the sea loch to the mountains beyond, this former hunting lodge, oozes character and charm. Each of our individually styled bedrooms is unique and distinctive and complements the historic features of Duisdale House. This was the best stay we’ve had all holiday. Everything was perfect from the second we walked in the door until we left. The lovely staff that they have really make this place worth the stay. We had so many warm and delightful interactions with everyone we came into contact with - Giuseppe was especially a highlight for us, thank you! The rooms was also very cosy and comfortable. They felt very well maintained and looked after which is always lovely to see. The dinner was absolutely delicious and unique, we loved every bite. Breakfast was also great and had lots of options depending on what you felt like. We couldn’t rate this property higher and would recommend it to anyone!

Everything! Wonderful sea view from our plush room. Gorgeous little dram of whiskey for guests is a lovely touch.
How remote the place is. Dunvegan is a remote area which we knew prior to booking. We had a car so travelling around was very easy for us. It was nice to be in the middle of nowhere :) Beautiful views out of all of the windows! Truly stunning. The house was extremely clean and was kitted out with everything we needed and more. It was really lovely and we would definitely return.
Lovely location in the stunning Isle of Skye Broadford hotel is home of drambuie Views from hotel are magical Had a great stay and differently recommend this hotel

Gorgeous view, free parking, lovely staff: nothing was any problem, lovely room, very comfortable bed, fresh fruit in your room, great food
Lovely decoration, thoughtful design, modern, clean, extremely well provisioned, great information about Skye, pretty location.
The unbelievable setting/ build quality inside & out, the interior design / cleanliness and the fact that every thing is thought of for the visitors including fresh local eggs/ bread rolls / tea / coffee - books/ DVD's / games /bikes/fishing equipment/walking poles etc & cleaning products to have a quick tidy and wipe round before you leave so that you have show respect for the beautiful cottage you have been lucky enough to enjoy for your stay.
This is an amazing property - beautifully designed and furnished, in an amazing position overlooking the water. We were lucky to have a water view room but even if you haven’t - there is an amazing lounge area for all residents to use that has gorgeous views. We had room 13 which was stunning and which had a lovely bathroom.
Absolutely everything! From the beautiful interior design to excellent service it was a brilliant stay. It was such a cozy comfortable room and had everything you needed. Steve was so friendly and helpful as well. The best part was the views from the balcony especially at sunset. Will be back in Skye and definitely again for another stay.
