The hotel has some of the best on-site facilities in the area, half of the rooms with hot tubs on private balconies, an on-site spa with poolside seating and a bar, stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, bike hire, wakesurfing and paddleboading. With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake District scenery. Breakfast was very nice! The restaurant is a MUST. Chef James cooks wonderful meals. Sorry we went to another place our second night! The staff and owner Mike couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was exceptional. We had room #6, which was apparently a “luxury” room…it was beautiful and much larger than we expected. Bed was VERY comfortable.

Original Victorian period features adorn the property, which also offers a cosy lounge. Breakfast was excellent, a good variety to choose from.

Decoration and ambience of the room was on point for a nice relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city Providence of a fan was fantastic to fight off the warm summer heat!

Situated in Levens, 18 km from World of Beatrix Potter, The Hare and Hounds, Levens features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Featuring a bar, the property is located within 32 km of Trough of Bowland. The property is non-smoking and is set 12 km from Kendal Castle. The rooms were upgraded and were excellent. All the meals were great and met our needs,

Located in the town of Ambleside, in the heart of the Lake District National Park, these rooms are situated above Stiles Coffee Bar, both featuring views of the surrounding fells.

Stiles has two B&B rooms, one double room (Shiraz) and one king-size room (Merlot), one of which has a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, while the other has a shower over a whirlpool spa bath. Towels, bed linen, toiletries and a hairdryer are all provided. Ironing facilities are also available if required. Everything- from the room to the bath to the breakfast, everything was amazing. We had a wonderful time during the easter holidays. Highly recommend staying in the Merlot King room.

Rooms are individually designed and all are en suite with complimentary toiletries. Each room comes complete with a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, a desk and tea/coffee making facilities. Many rooms have a beautiful mountain view. Sue and Gary are very attentive hosts. They accommodated all of our needs. Gary gave us directions and maps to use for our hiking treks and detailed descriptions of what to anticipate on our journey. Sue provided us with anything we requested for our breakfast and our room. We laughed and had great fun sharing stories. They really made our stay in Keswick extra special. They have private secure parking and are located within walking distance of town. We highly recommend their B and B.
