The hotel has some of the best on-site facilities in the area, half of the rooms with hot tubs on private balconies, an on-site spa with poolside seating and a bar, stylish restaurant and cocktail bar, bike hire, wakesurfing and paddleboading. Tha wheatear was brilliant and the staff were so helpful and friendly. It was a nice view of the lake from the lake suite. The room with a private bathtub was the best choice for relaxing and couple celebrations. Also, the spa and swimming were available and cosy. At this time of year (December), the town was so beautiful and everywhere was decorated for Christmas. It was a dreamy trip.🎄✨️

The cozy atmosphere, coupled with the picturesque surroundings, made for a perfect getaway. The hotel's location allowed easy access to the beauty of the Lake District, making it a convenient base for adventures. The friendly staff contributes to the warm atmosphere, greeting guests with smiles and a passion for service. The rooms is clean, cozy and comfortable. The home made butter brings pure joy in every bite😄. Everything made my visit a delightful and memorable experience.

Featuring a bar, the property is located within 32 km of Trough of Bowland. The property is non-smoking and is set 12 km from Kendal Castle. The rooms were upgraded and were excellent. All the meals were great and met our needs,

Stiles has two B&B rooms, one double room (Shiraz) and one king-size room (Merlot), one of which has a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, while the other has a shower over a whirlpool spa bath. Towels, bed linen, toiletries and a hairdryer are all provided. Ironing facilities are also available if required. Everything- from the room to the bath to the breakfast, everything was amazing. We had a wonderful time during the easter holidays. Highly recommend staying in the Merlot King room.
