I love the peace, comfort and the excellent staff this hotel has. If I can save more, I will definitely book again in the future. At 5pm, I already feel sleepy and relaxed which I could not experience from others

The White Star has received 2 AA Rosettes for the quality of its great-value food. Dishes are made using fresh local produce. The bar serves wines, award-winning ales and cocktails. Great location ,food and staff.

They have an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. The room was amazing and premises are located in a quiet area. Wendy has put a great deal of thought into making the room as comfortable as possible for her guests making sure that anything you may need is provided. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was great. We loved that there was a fridge in the room and that cereals and milk were also provided in the room for breakfast. There was parking on-site. It was great value for money and I highly recommend this accommodation.

The staff, as usual, make or break an Inn and the staff definitely made this a great stop. Breakfast, made to order or from the menu, was delicious and the coffee made my wife's morning. The Plough Itchen Abbas opens onto lovely gardens and you can dine out on the terrace. Jamie greeted us and was an Excellent Host. The staff were kind and accommodating and we are delighted with our experience. The room was lovely with every comfort. We would highly recommend staying here.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Very comfortable bed and anything you wanted for breakfast. They even catered for dairy and wheat allergies. Would definitely visit again

Less than 10 minutes’ walk from Clarence Pier in Portsmouth, this historically listed building is in Bellevue Terrace. There is free Wi-Fi throughout, and a full English breakfast is provided each morning. The staff/owners were absolutely lovely. They made every effort to anticipate our every need and to make us comfortable. The hotel is adorable. Nice little "extra touches" throughout. What a great stay! This was the highlight of our entire 3 week trip to England.
