The centre of Sunderland is a 10-minute drive away, while the Stadium of Light is less than 2 miles from the guest house. Newcastle city centre, The Metro Centre and Newcastle Airport can be reached in 40 minutes by car. Room was small but very cost and warm. The only point is that the motorway is nearby, so you can hear the cars moving (in case of windows overlooking the seashore). But it is not a problem at all with the window closed. Rooms were cleaned every day, altogether with tea and coffee resupply. Good wi-fi and a small desk to work. And the most important, the seashore within the reach of your hand (not the 1st line, but it does not matter and I checked the map before booking)

Its rooms are striking and unique, and now has the fantastic Grainger Restaurant’ on site. The Grainger Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. I thought the breakfst was particularly well done. We were given a menu and our order was cooked to our requests.
