Andreas was sensational, offering excellent recommendations in restaurants, trips out etc. All the staff made us feel very welcome. But, if you like wavy sea, you can go 300 meter further on the beach to Kissamos center direction, you get to a beach with bigger wawes. aphrodite has an interesting position of the swimming pool. No strong sun, no strong wind. Ideal for evenings when tired by see. Also great for childeren. Theere is a restaurant in front of hotel which is quiet, but zou see some touch with the atmosphere if zou have a see view room. The Kisamos area is interesting part of Crete. The port to Balos is abou 3km from Aphrodite. Falassarna is10 minutes by car. Elafonisi about 1 hour by car distance. The hotel personnels were very pleasent and kind. The hotel was perfectly clean.
