Great value and even greater dogs and staff. Airport transfer is higher than normal price but at least you know it will actually turn up – I've booked two early morning tuks to the airport via Palms now, and both arrived nice and early, which is always a relief. Water dispensers to fill your bottle are a huge plus – there's way too much single-use plastic in Sri Lanka. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious and super clean. Oh, and did I mention the DOGS?

At first impression the hotel seemed a little dated and run down, and we were surprised at the high rankinng on Booking. Over the next 24 hours our imression changed 100%. We were given an amazing suite, all the staff were very helpful and attentive and the food was excellent. By the time we left this was our favourite hotel of our trip and our initial misgivings forgotten. We couldn´t recommend it more
