Kurumba is paradise on earth, the resort is well suited for spending your honeymoon, the food is great, the beach is perfect, the weather is nice even in this rainy season (We stayed between 20th to 25th of July). The staff is very friendly and professional, I would like to thank: 1- Ibrahim Vaajidh (Security) for becoming my newest friend, and for sharing more information about the Maldivian culture and traditions. I really enjoyed our conversations ! 2- Ibrahim Zayaan Ali (equipment) for his help in getting nice GoPro underwater videos and for his kindness! 3- Nazim (Water sports) for his excellent/thorough training on the Jet-ski and for his snorkeling tips. 4- Shiffu (Photo studio) for giving us the VIP treatment on our photo session, and for staying late to prepare our album before our departure. (The photos are amazing) 5- Uoola (Main restaurant) for taking care of us (hint: Passion fruit jam :) )

From the GM through to our wait staff and tour assistants, everyone was attentive to our needs and very, very welcoming.

Not just because of Maldives and nice beach, also because of the nice hotel and an amazing hospitality of all the Staff. We arrived and soon we got there Thaseen received us with a nice coconut and all the informations about the villa and our stay. He showed us all the restaurants, explaining how the all inclusive works and also gave to us his WhatsApp to talk to him anytime we need. Thank you Thaseen for helping us to have an amazing stay. The hotel is not really new, but every place is very clean and tidy. We stayed in a Water Villa Aqua Suit. Our room was incredible big, a lot of space for our bags and stuff, big room with a gorgeous view and a giant infinity pool. Our room was cleaned 2 times per day, our housekeeping Shamugel was super sweet and very attentive the details. He left clean towels every time he went there also passed every night to leave the room with the air conditioning on, nice smell and all the curtains closed. Thank you so much Shamugel. We really appreciate your hard work. The restaurants have a variety options of food, including vegan. I’m vegan and I could find so many options on each meal. The main restaurant called Aqua has a lot of options of every type of food. It’s a buffet so you can choose what you prefer to eat. It’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast is always there and the view is gorgeous. A special thank you for Rita and Dilshad that was always smiling and making sure we were having a great time at the villa. Thank you for all the staff of the restaurants that work a lot to keep the guests comfortable and happy. Also thank you very much to Rathna and Ruwan the managers that received us all the time very gently and kind, making sure everything was perfect. There’s 2 more different restaurants, with 3 or 4 course menu depending of the time you book. Both are open just for lunch or dinner. The “Well Done” is more Sea food and light food.

Boutique Beach All Inclusive Diving Hotel is located in Dhigurah, an area famous marine protected area for whale shark and manta rays. Free Wifi is provided.

Overlooking the Indian Ocean and our lagoon, guests can enjoy the beautiful sunset and safari boats from the Roof Top Boutique Heaven restaurant. It is just a minute walk from the beach. Great team. Very enjoyable stay.

Located just a 10 minute drive away from Male International Airport, Hotel Ocean Grand offers cosy and comfortable accommodation and a 24-hour front desk to assist guests at all hours. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property including all rooms. The hotel is nice and clean and provides awesome transfer services from/to Male airport. Hotel representatives on the airport was waiting for us in front of domestic flights arrivals (we arrived from another Maldives’ island) and was very helpful with transfer (the same the next day with transfer to Male airport in the morning). The hotel is a smaller one, but very nice and clean. Receptionists’ team (Mr. Arjun and Fahim) helped us with early breakfast, we needed to catch early morning flight. We had an ocean view room, which was nicely clean with comfortable bed and pillows. We spent here only 1 night, as our international flight back home was early morning.

Staff are able to converse in English and Mandarin Chinese. Crystal Sands exceeded our expectations in so many ways - you will never find better value for money! From staff that became our friends, to food, especially dinner buffet that we enjoyed so much, to amazing location, just middle of Maafushi where all the cool bars, restaurants and bikini beach is. On the last night of our 7 day stay, we have even got a room upgrade for my bday, combined with lovely bed decoration. We will definitely come back, thank you Crystal Sands team!!!
